Aleksandra Radziszewska

ALEKSANDRA RADZISZEWSKA (b. 1954- d. 2012)
Her graduation in the atelier of professor Zablocki in 1981 was followed by the participation at the Diploma Presentation in Zachęta Gallery in Warsaw in the same year. Radziszewska’s paintings took part in over 60 exhibitions in Poland, France, Germany, USA and Holland.
Mieczysław Olszewski about Radziszewska’s art:
“Her  works remind us of life and its value. It is a serious reflection, yet so cheerful and heartlightening, which is a major asset of her art. The wisdom of the paintings resembles the wisdom of the nature. An image of any item, which does not base itself upon satisfaction with similarity, but upon evoking the thought of life, the seriousness and the drama of the very life itself, the phenomena of being, the thought wrapped in a random common thing. Such an image, when painted, becomes a reflection of reality (…)”.
