CZESŁAW TUMIELEWICZ- (born in 1942) - a Polish painter, graphic artist, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. He studied architecture, painting and graphics. Diploma from the Painting Studio of prof. L. Mianowski at the PWSSP in Poznań in 1978. Lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. He obtained the title of professor in 1994 -
He took part in over 350 exhibitions at home and abroad. He received a scholarship from the Kościuszko Foundation in New York in 1981, as well as first prize at the National Exhibition of Young Art in Sopot in 1974; first prize at the Polish National Painting Competition ( Spychalski Prize) in Poznań in 1977; one of 10 equal prizes at the National Graphic Exhibition in Warsaw in 1973.
