Marianna Oklejak graduated from the Faculty of Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (2006). She was a finalist of the international competition CJ Picture Book 2010 in Seoul, South Korea. In 2011, she was awarded three times in the IBBY competition.
