Wojciech Ćwiertniewicz

WOJCIECH ĆWIERTNIEWICZ (b. 1955)
Studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in 1976-1981. He is a laureate of Art Critics Awards Cyprian Kamil Norwid and the "Exit" Award for 2008.
He took part in over 100 group exhibitions in the country and abroad, including Zachęta in Warsaw (1988), New York (1991), the Center for Contemporary Art in Warsaw (1997) and the National Museum in Warsaw (2010). His works are in several public collections (including the National Museum in Krakow, the Upper Silesian Museum in Bytom, the Main Library of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow) and in many private collections in the country and abroad.
