Krystyna Jaszke
She graduated The Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław from the faculty of Painting and Sculpture at the atelier of professor Józef Hałas and prof. Leszek Mickoś as well as the lithography at the atelier of professor Paweł Frąckiewicz and the mezzotint at the atelier of professor Chris Nowicki. Diploma in 2002. In the early stage of her artistic development, she came close to abstractionism. However today she is focused on figurative painting. Her passion is also graphic art, especially mezzotint. Her works can be divided into two main trends: pictures of children and fantasy images. The main theme of her work is mystery and enigma created in a world of sleepy fairytales resulting in a unique atmoshere.
