Barbara Szubińska

BARBARA SZUBINSKA (born 1934)
She studied at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw under the supervision of prof. Stanisław Szczepanski and prof. Artur Nacht-Samborski, where she obtained her diploma in 1958. She was associated with the group "Rekonesans", she also took part in the retrospectives of the group, including on the exhibition at the Zachęta Gallery in 1994. She held the position of a professor at the European Academy of Arts in Warsaw.
The artist's works have been exhibited at numerous group and individual exhibitions at home and abroad.
