BOŻENA LESIAK (born in 1952)
Studied at the faculty of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow between 1972 and 1977. She participated in numerous exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Her works can be found in the private collections in Poland, Denmark, Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy and the United States.
The artist is mainly known for her paintings of romantic landscapes as well as flowers. Her bouquets of tulips are painted as landscapes - the lengthwise petals remind us of trees and the background becomes the picturesque sky.
