ELŻBIETA "ELLIS" OSTROWSKA
She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 1974. She was born to artistic parents from whom she inherited the love for art, especially painting. She paints, draws, makes sculptures and frescos. The artist received many prestigious awards, including the 1st award for her painting of Tadeusz Kosciuszko in the competition organized on the 200th anniversary of the founding of the United States. Between 1976 and 1981 she stayed in Paris and in the South of France where she participated in numerous plein-airs. She is passionate about monumental sacral painting (fresco). She created many polychromes which may be found in various churches in Poland. Her works are in the private collections in Poland and abroad.
