JADWIGA OKRASSA (born in 1950)
She studied under prof. W. Janowski at the Faculty of Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. She graduated in 1976. She holds a doctorate degree in graphic arts.
The artist works in the field of graphic design including press and book illustration, graphic signs, posters, stamps as well as in the field of painting, drawing, ceramics and photography. Jadwiga Okrassa’s works may be found in many private and public collections such as UN (New York) Institut International des droits de l'Homme (Strasbourg), National Museum of Women in the Arts, (Washington DC) UNESCO (Paris), Poster Museum (Wilanów), International Association of Illustrators FILU (Berlin).
