Joanna Sokołowska

JOANNA SOKOŁOWSKA (1984)  
She graduated with honors from the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 2012. She also graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston. MFA diploma in 2015. Artist Residence in Carving Studio and Sculpture Center in West Rutland, Vermont, USA. Fulbright Scholarship awarded by the Polish-US Fulbright Commission in 2010 . She participated in a group exhibition in Vestlandske Kunstindustrimuseum - Museum of Modern Art in Bergen, Norway, and in the exhibition organized by the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma and MUSPAC - Museo Sperimentale d'Arte Contemporanea inl'Aquila Antiche Cave del Barco in Tivoli.
Awards: 2011 - award for sculpture 'Desire' and participated in the exhibition of finalists 10th edition of the competition Hestia.
2010 - award for sculpture "Memories" during the workshop and exhibition "Lega'mi -un Segno nel Parco" in Tivoli Terme, Italy.
