Krzysztof Kargol

KRZYSZTOF KARGOL (born 1974) Co-founder of the artistic group VIA – Volna Inicjatywa Artystyczna. He has a studio in Józefosław. He runs a project of painting miniatures of everyday life and landscapes, which he shows as Skład Pejzaży Powszednich. Large-format paintings are usually created in his studio, smaller ones are painted alla prima in the open air. He creates reflective, colorful and cheerful paintings, which leave the viewer a lot of space for their own interpretation. A very important theme in his work is people, portraits, nature, its cycle and duration. A thick layer of applied paint, rich structure and variety of colors draw the viewer into their own journey in discovering the world contained in the paintings.
