Lena Achtelik

LENA ACHTELIK

She studied painting from 2011 to 2016 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. She earned her diploma with honors in the Book Art Studio under Dr. Bogna Otto-Węgrzyn, completing additional annexes in intaglio printing under Prof. Jan Szmatloch and in painting under Prof. Zbigniew Blukacz. She was an Erasmus+ scholarship holder at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. Previously, she graduated with a degree in history from the University of Silesia.

She has presented her works in numerous solo and group exhibitions; she also participated in the International Triennial of Graphic Art in Vilnius and the 2nd International Print Biennale in Bucharest.

In 2016, she was awarded the Grand Prix of the Franciszka Eibisch Foundation.
