Magdalena Szpyt-Kucharska

MAGDALENA SZPYT-KUCHARSKA studied at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. In 2020, she graduated, defending her diploma in painting prepared in the studio of Professor Mirosław Sikorski, along with an annex in animated film completed under the supervision of Professor Robert Sowa.

The artist is active in various forms of visual art. Her creative practice encompasses illustration, drawing, mural creation, modeling, graphic design, and the aforementioned animation. Despite such a broad spectrum of interests and disciplines, easel painting remains her most important means of expression.

In her paintings, she most frequently explores the themes of landscape and portraiture – both human and animal. These depictions go beyond mere recording of reality, serving the artist primarily as profound studies of emotionality.
