Maka Cielecka
A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She worked as a graphic artist in Canada and the Netherlands. On the occasion of her husband's diplomatic missions, she traveled for many years. During her stay in Turkey, she discovered weaving that fascinated her. Then, inspired by the rich tradition of Georgian artistic weaving, during her four-year stay in Tbilisi, she began to realize her tapestries. In 2005-2017 she dealt mainly with weaving and returned to the pastels technique.
