"The encounter with the artistic world of Maria Anto pictures is always a moment of a deep emotional touch, resembling only the emotions evoked by the most beautiful poetry. Unicorns, pegasuses and dancing angels on her paintings make us think of poetry with its highest values - purity, inspiration, and fragility. The Earth stands still, the time does not exist and the picture becomes an autonomous reality of the canvas. It is a framed dream, which mixing meanings and symbols of the eons long human searching blend as threads of the canvas." Katarzyna Napiorkowska
