RAFAŁ STRENT (born in 1943)
Rafał Strent studied at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in prof. Aleksander Kobzdej’s studio. He received his diploma in 1972 and since then has worked as a lecturer at his alma mater. He specializes in painting, graphic arts and drawing. He held several dozen individual exhibitions in Poland abroad, and he participated in about 300 collective exhibitions. He has been a laureate of numerous awards and honorable mentions, including International Grand Prix in Contemporary Art (Monte Carlo, 1979). Etching and paintings of professor Strent may be found in private and public collections around the world.
