Siergiej Timochow
SIERGIEJ TIMOCHOW (1960-2012)
Artist from Belarus. He graduated from the Art College in Minsk in 1979. In 1984, Timochow graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Minsk. His paintings have been shown in over 40 individual and group exhibitions ( Byelorus, Canada, Germany, Poland, France). In 2004 Timochow was the prizewinner of the Grand Prix at the “Golden Pen” Biennale of Illustration in Belgrade. Works in the collections of Museum modern art of Belarus (Minsk), Art fund of Union of Belarusian Artists (Minsk), in Art fund of Russian Culture Ministry (Moscow), in Museum of M. Chagall (Vitsebsk), Art museum in Polotsk and in private collections in Belarus, USA, Europe, etc.
