SŁAWOMIR KUSZCZAK (born in 1966)
Studied at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Poznań (painting) and the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana (graphic arts). Diploma in painting, with a honourable distinction, at the atelier of professor Jan Świtka. Since 1990, he has been working at the Academy of Fine Arts ( University of the Arts ) in Poznań.
Kuszczak was awarded scholarships of DAAD and of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. He held lectures at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana (Slovenia), at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cluj-Napoca (Romania) and at the Academy of Architecture and Design in Prague. He completed teaching internships at the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin and at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Braunschweig.
He presented his own paintings, drawings and graphics on dozens of individual and collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
