Agapi

Agapi Wieruszewska. Painter and printmaker. Graduate of the Faculty of Painting and the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She obtained her diploma in painting under Professor Jerzy Tchórzewski and her diploma in printmaking under Professor Rafał Strent. Her work stems from the need for attentive observation of the world and building an emotional relationship with nature, memory, and everyday human experience.

In her paintings and artistic practice, she combines painterly sensitivity with a reflective gaze, seeking harmony between light, color, and inner experience. She is inspired by both Mediterranean landscapes and the subtle beauty hidden in the quiet simplicity of daily life.

She currently lives and works in Crete, where she conducts art workshops and runs projects related to painting, crafts, and art education. Her practice also encompasses projects connecting art with the aesthetics of living, storytelling, and the experience of a place where nature and culture organically intertwine.
